Hope You’re Well!

Hello Everyone,

We hope you all had a super Easter with your families, we hope you haven’t eaten too many eggs!

We are hoping to be back at school soon however in the meantime here are some ideas to keep you busy!

If you had fun taking part in an Easter egg hunt maybe you could create one for your family, maybe even creating a map of your house or garden.

We have unlocked some more maths games on abacus (logins are stuck in your reading diaries)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zjpqqp3/year-1-lessons/1 BBC Bitesize have some daily lessons which are really fun.

Reading your favourite book to a family member, or your favourite teddy, can you expression in your reading? or maybe even different voices for different characters? If you are running out of books Telford library is currently free for some ebooks and audiobooks https://www.telford.gov.uk/libraries

Remember phonics play is free at the moment so continue with phase 5c phonics, also use your flashcards that we gave out in the spring term to make sure you know all those phase 3 and 5 digraphs. You could choose a card and see if you know any alternative spellings for the same diagraph (e.g. igh as in high, ie as in tie, y as in fly, i-e as in bike).

Here is the official government list of online resources for homeschooling https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-online-education-resources/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-online-education-resources-for-home-education

If you are feeling creative and produce art work, or maybe even you’ve been head chef and have created something tasty please send any pictures to A3362@telford.gov.uk as we would love to see what you’ve been up to.

Keep smiling and we will see you very soon!!!
