PE home learning
There are some PE home learning activities which can be done individually or in pairs/small groups with a focus on the development of physical competence and actively learning the importance of personal skills to support social, emotional and mental well-being. There are some activity cards for each skill and a video to go with them .
There is also a link to The Royal Opera House which have launched their newly developed Create and Learn Programme, a weekly programme of activities for children and young people learning at home. Requiring no prior knowledge of opera and ballet, over the next 12 weeks this FREE series will explore the magical world of the theatre, giving children a glimpse behind the famous stage, and linking to PE home learning through their fabulous dance activities.

Active Learning (Maths, Literacy and phonics)
Here are some activities to help teach wider school subjects such as English and Maths in a physical way so as to reduce children sitting for too long and making the learning fun, such as ‘times table squats’ and ‘active story time’.
Take care, and look after yourselves! We look forward to seeing you all soon :).
