Good morning Class 3 and 4!
Well done for your brilliant work yesterday, your pranks made us smile!
Literacy
During the 1990’s comic books and comic strips were very popular. Below are some examples.

We would love to see if you could have a go at writing your own comic strip about whatever you would like.
There is a sheet below to download that you could use or you can use any resources you have available at home. Remember to try and use your phonics knowledge in your writing. We look forward to reading them!
Maths
Below are some items you might buy from the shops. We would like you to compare how much the items cost in the 1990’s and how much it would cost today, which cost more?

The sheet is available to download below or you could write a list of the items along with the higher price.
Phonics
We are going to look at alternative spellings for the oa phoneme again today.

Reading
Can you read the comic below to a grown up? Don’t forget to talk to your grown up about what happens. This comic revisits sounds we have already learnt.

Below I have listed some activities that you can choose from during the week, but remember to pick one a day:
- Draw your family tree
- Timeline of your life – can you draw a picture of yourself from each year of your life? (Click the link below for a link to sheet you can use if you wish to)
- Art – Can you create some 90’s style artwork like the examples below?

Keep up the amazing work Class 3 and 4!
Miss Ballance, Mrs Kibblewhite, Mrs Wheaver and Mrs Hughes.
